Sacraments

You may schedule baptisms within the weekend Masses. Parents must be registered members of the parish and regularly in attendance for at least two to three months. The parents or legal guardians must meet with the pastor, Fr.Joseph, prior to attending the baptism preparation class. Since there are special requirements for godparents, you should not ask anyone to be a godparent until you have met with Fr. Joseph.

First Communion and Reconciliation

First Communion is part of the second-grade curriculum in our Children’s Religious Education program. If you are an adult seeking the sacraments of the Eucharist and Reconciliation, please see the information on the RCIA page.

Confirmation

We offer Confirmation class for any teenagers who are in the 8th grade or older. Deacon Doug Smith will be teaching the class over 12 2-hour sessions on Sunday afternoons from September through April.

Anointing of the Sick

Parishioners admitted at either Ogden Regional Medical Center or McKay-Dee are encouraged to have a family member contact our office at 801-479-1112 if you need to be anointed. Because of privacy acts (i.e. HIPAA) we need you to let us know when you need assistance.

Marriage

The bride or groom must be registered in the parish for at least four months before making arrangements. Natural Family Planning classes and Engagement Encounter Weekend are required from the Diocese of Salt Lake City. Certificates are given for attendance. Reservations are limited. Please contact the parish office for more information.
