Becoming Catholic

Becoming Catholic

What does it mean to be Catholic? It is being a real part of a community that has been united to Jesus Christ since the time He walked on this earth. Through the centuries and throughout the world, the Church has been persecuted and opposed. It has been attacked from within beginning with Judas, one of the Twelve chosen by Christ Himself. through it all, the Church continues to serve those in need, preach the Gospel, worship the one, true God, an be a community undivided by space or time.

The Church continually welcomes new souls to enter this journey. The invitation to join us extends beyond Sunday services sitting in a pew. It is an invitation to change your entire life. To sacrifice the old to live in Christ Jesus. That is how one experiences the fullness of life.

This Lent, Holy Family will begin what will hopefully be a year-round process. On Wednesday nights at 7 pm in the Education Building, anyone curious about the Church can begin an inquiry that will, by God’s grace, lead them to full communion with the Catholic Church in Baptism, Confirmation, and the reception of Holy Communion.

All are welcome to attend these meetings
