All Saint’s/Soul’s Day

All Saint’s/Soul’s Day

All Saints’ Day

The Solemnity of All Saints is celebrated on its Vigil, October 31st at 5:30 pm, as well as November 1st at 8:30am and 5:30pm. There will also be a special Mass at Leavitt’s Memorial Cemetery on 36th Street at noon.

All Souls’ Day

All Soul’s Novena will begin on October 22th and end on November 1st at the 5:30 pm Mass. On All Souls’ Day, we remember our beloved deceased at Mass on Saturday, November 2, at Noon. Large candles with the names of the deceased members of the Parish who died this past year will be on the altar and will remain there through the week.  The small four-hour tea candles will be in holders in front of the altar.  Those wishing to light smaller candles in front of the altar may do so before Mass or they may stay after Mass and light the candles in remembrance of their loved ones. Envelopes for the novena are in the pews.
